Jeremiah 6:16
“Stand in the ways and see”
But if I’ll just go on.
Without standing in the ways.
Why cannot I do so?
I don’t even know, where to go.
“and ask for the old paths”
Old paths – way to the future?
But if however I do look back,
what shall I see?
You were there with me
even when I didn’t realize it.
You were there with me
even when I didn’t want it.
“where the good way is and walk in it”
What is the good way?
How can I know it?
How?
Now I remember.
You’ll lead us when we pray for You.
”then you will find rest for your souls”
So, I’ll find a way shown by You,
I’ll walk in that way with You,
and find rest given by You.
What would I have without You?
